Earlier this week, we sent a joint letter to the UK Home Office from grant funded organisations (GFOs) providing EUSS advice to vulnerable individuals urging them to continue the funding past March.

The support provided by the Home Office through the network of GFOs has been vital in reaching and supporting hundreds of thousands of vulnerable individuals to access the EUSS, and secure their rights in the UK.

The GFO network continues to receive a huge demand on our services to assist vulnerable applicants. The scale of this demand can be seen by the hundreds of thousands of late applications made to the EUSS since the deadline in June 2021.

We are concerned by the precipitous removal of essential funding and welcome a conversation on how capacity can be maintained past March to ensure that no one is left behind.

You can read the letter here.

Thank you to all organisations that signed the letter.
