Today marks 3 years since Brexit Day in 2020.

With 50,000 people applying to the EU Settlement Scheme every month, the number of people affected is something we can’t ignore

Over 6 million people have applied to the EU Settlement Scheme (that’s the equivalent of nearly 10% of the UK population!); 180,000 people are waiting for a decision on their application, 50,000 people continue to apply to the scheme every month

With 2.7 million people at risk of losing their status, the unlawfulness of the EU Settlement Scheme is something we can’t ignore

The High Court recently declared the EU Settlement Scheme unlawful as its current design will put 2.7 million people at risk of losing their status when their pre-settled status starts to expire from August this year

As people miss out on job offers and are turned down for rental flats because they can’t show physical proof of their status, the discrimination created by a digital status is something we can’t ignore

People with status under the EU Settlement Scheme are regularly stopped and detained at the border because their immigration status can only be proved digitally, people miss out on job offers, and are turned down for rental flats because they can’t show a physical proof of their status.

These are 3 things we still believe in!
