Our Approach
Here for Good empowers at-risk migrants to secure and safeguard their rights through free, high-quality legal services and strategic legal work. Our structure is built on close partnerships. In addition to our in-house teams of lawyers who are based within law firms and legal centres, we also have a network of skilled volunteer immigration lawyers taking on cases across the UK.
We currently provide free advice on the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), the Ukraine Schemes and the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP).
We urgently need the help of skilled caseworkers to join our Specialist EUSS Volunteer Lawyer Network to assist our clients in making late applications under the EUSS, so that we can continue protecting their rights to stay in the UK.
This is a highly complex, and fast-changing area of immigration law and those who join us will have the chance to make a positive impact on many people’s lives.
Volunteer lawyers take on one or two cases at a time, which they can manage in their own time, and commit as little or as much time as they like. We always send our volunteers a case summary beforehand so they can decide if they want to take the case on or not.
It’s easy to get involved with us; we take on volunteer lawyers both as individuals and through formal pro bono agreements with law firms. If you’re interested, fill out the forms below.
